พึ่งได้หนังสือมาเล่มหนึ่งชื่อว่า 100 นิทาน 1,000,000 กำลังใจ (แปลโดย นาริตะ)
(One Hundred Wisdom Stories from Around the World - by Margaret Silf)
เป็นหนังสือรวมเรื่องสั้นๆจากนักเขียนชื่อดังมากๆอย่างเช่น Paulo Coelho, Leo Tolstoy, Oscar Wilde เป็นต้น
คาดว่าหลายๆคนน่าจะมีเล่มนี้อยู่ในครอบครองหรือเคยอ่านมันมาบ้างแล้วเพราะกว่าที่เราซื้อมาก็พิมพ์ไปครั้งที่ 6 แล้ว
เรื่องสั้นๆที่ถูกรวบรวมไว้จะเป็นงานเขียนแนว uplifting และให้ข้อคิดแง่มุมต่างๆของชีวิต
และที่ประทับใจมากคือคุณนาริตะผู้แปลใช้ภาษาไทยที่แปลออกมาแล้วอบอุ่นมากๆ (เราลองเอาไปเทียบกับภาษาอังกฤษดูบ้าง)

เมื่อคืนอ่านไปแล้วราวๆ 10 กว่าเรื่อง ก่อนที่จะหลับไปพร้อมหนังสือ

ขอจบด้วยเรื่องหนึ่งในหนังสือทีเราเปิดเจอเป็นเรื่องแรก:

A king had two servants. He told the first servant to do something. The servant did it and was promoted. He told the second servant to do something. The servant did not do it and was fired.

The servant who was promoted lived very, very well in the king’s service, and continued to obey the king and be promoted. One day, however, his thoughts turned to the servant who had disobeyed the king and been fired. So he went to visit him.

He arrived at the house where the man used to live, but he was no longer there. A neighbor said he had sold the house and moved to a much smaller one. When the first servant arrived at the place where the second servant now lived, he realized that “house” was too kind a word. It was a hovel.

The first servant knocked on the door, and a voice said, “Come in!” The second servant was sitting on the dirt floor eating a very, very thin soup.

The servant who had been promoted smiled. “If you had learned to obey the king, you would not have to eat that thin soup,” he said.

The servant who had been fired said, “If you had learned how to eat this soup, you would not have to obey the king.”

Note:
- อาจจะต้องไปปฏิบัติงานต่างจังหวัด 2-3 วัน ทำให้อาจจะไม่ได้เข้ามา update ... รอหน่อยละกัน ใครก็ตามที่ยังแวะเวียนเข้ามา
- ตัดสินใจว่าจะ ลด-ละ-เลิก การเขียนถึงเพื่อนคนหนึ่ง เพราะเราหาคำที่มาบรรยายความรู้สึกที่มีต่อคนๆนี้ไม่ได้แล้ว
- ช่วงนี้ชอบ Scrubb มากอย่างบอกไม่ถูก จนรู้สึกละอายที่เมื่อ 4 ปีก่อนไม่ชอบศิลปินกลุ่มนี้อย่างไม่มีเหตุผล ... ขออภัยไว้ ณ ที่นี้ และจะจดจำไว้ว่าไม่ควรมีอคติกับสิ่งใดจนกว่าจะได้ลองคลุกคลีกับมัน
